2 Cups Sugar
1 Cup Light Karo
1 1/2 Cup Water
1 1/2 teas. Salt
2 teas. Watkins Extract (any flavor)
Mix together and boil until 250 degrees on a candy thermometer. Add 2 tsp. extract and food coloring to brighten. Pour into a buttered pan and cool slightly. Butter yours hands and pull until the candy is hard to pull. Then cut into pieces.
